SRHR Festival 2024

SRHR Festival held on 30th November 2024

Building International Solidarity

We are honored to have had a productive meeting with Kaukab Stewart, the Scottish Government's Minister for Equalities.

During our discussions, we focused on: 1️⃣ Strengthening the transnational network for human rights defenders (HRDs), ensuring that global solidarity and collaboration continue to thrive. 2️⃣ Advocating for enhanced protection measures for HRDs, especially those facing threats due to their tireless work in promoting justice and equality. 3️⃣ Exploring government-to-government lobbying to address the pressing human rights challenges that HRDs face globally, particularly in marginalized communities.

We look forward to continuing our partnership with the Scottish Government to build a safer and more equitable world for all.
